BC Card awarded first in NCSI for 9 consecutive years
BC Card (President and CEO, Joon Hee Suh, www.bccard.com) has been awarded first place in 2016 National Customer Satisfaction Index (NCSI), making BC Card the first credit card company to be ranked number one for 9 consecutive years. NCSI is a customer satisfaction index created by Korea Productivity Center and University of Michigan and it quantifies customer satisfaction rate of products and services provided in and out of Korea. This model has become a credible index for evaluating customer satisfaction; more than 30 countries around the world, including the US and Korea, use it to measure customer satisfaction rate of respective firms and groups. BC Card has been combining its card usage data with other data, including social data, to ▲ venture into new businesses, ▲ personalize customer events, ▲ specialize products, and more. To increase the convenience of credit card use for overseas tourists in Korea, BC Card has ▲ launched HCE-based QuickPass card, ▲ launched overseas money transfer service (a first for a credit card company in Korea), ▲ began issuing prepaid cards in China, and has built a joint venture with a local bank in Indonesia to further develop credit card processing business. Also BC Card has been promoting ‘BC on a Red Day’ campaign, providing marketing offers in CGV, Coffee Bean, YES24 throughout the year. BC Card has also spread message of hope to the disadvantaged class with its active social activities within and outside Korean borders.
