  • BC Card plans to give out prizes such as strollers, sparkling machines, and child care items up to 5,084 ‘Happy Times’ customers by June 30

BC Card (President and CEO Jong Jin Chae, www.bccard.com) announced on June 8 that it has launched an application ‘Happy Times’, which provides information on pregnancy, childbirth and childcare.

Recently released, ‘Happy Times’ provides a variety of services related to childbirth and childcare including ▲ Balance check on pregnancy / childcare subsidies (on BC Card only) ▲ Management of infant growth record and statistics ▲ Operation of community channels where customers can share information on pregnancy and childcare.

First, whereas customers could only check the balance of their pregnancy / childcare subsidies through ARS or homepage, ‘Happy Times’ enables customers to check the balance with a simple procedure of logging on to the application.

Also with ‘Happy Times’, customers can create a diary of their child´s growth records and check the weekly and monthly growth statistics based on the accumulated recorded data.

In addition, BC Card also runs a community space that allows customers to share childcare information with other members through the app. It also features a service that allows customers to use the app with a simple PIN number setting even if the customer is not a BC Card member.

Events are also underway to commemorate the release of the ‘Happy Times’. A total of 5,084 customers, who have signed up for ‘Happy Times’ and have applied for an in-app event, will receive gifts including ▲ Baby carriage(1) ▲ Sparkling water maker(3) ▲ Happy Box for childcare(80) ▲ Baskin Robbins single-cone coupon(5000).

Jin Cheol Kim, Director of Marketing, said, “We are launching ‘Happy Times’ to offer help to customers by providing various benefits and information related to pregnancy, childbirth and childcare.” And “We plan to partner with childcare professionals and various companies to provide more benefits and tailored contents in the future.”

Meanwhile, BC Card has been issuing ‘National Happiness Card’ and ‘Child Happiness Card’ since 2015, with which cardholders could receive government pregnancy and childbirth subsidies.
