BC Card Volunteers with Daegu Bank to Assist Vulnerable Classes

  • Volunteer activities at Daeduk Culture Center in Nam-gu, Daegu starting at 11 a.m. on October 24th to help vulnerable groups in the area, along with Daegu Bank
  • The charity event was held to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the founding of Daegu Bank, and healthful meals and daily necessities were provided to help around 400 people survive the winter more comfortably
  • The Love Sharing Festival has been conducted annually since 2009, with plans to continually expand the scope of assistance and beneficiaries

BC Card released a statement on October 24th regarding the Love Sharing Festival held with Daegu Bank to help the vulnerable classes in Daegu.

The charity event kicked off at 11 a.m. on October 24th at the Daeduk Culture Center in Nam-gu, Daegu. Volunteers from BC Card, Daegu Bank, KT Group Hope Sharing Foundation, Daegu Nam-gu Office, and Daegu Food Bank provided nutritious meals and daily necessities to around 400 people from vulnerable groups.

Lee Jeong-ho (Senior Vice President), the Head of Sales Division at BC Card, Choi Seok-jin (Senior Vice President), the Head of the Communications Department at BC Card, Vice-Chairman Jang Young-cheol of Daegu Bank, Im Byeong-heon, the Head of Nam-gu Office of Daegu, and around 90 executives and employees of BC Card and Daegu Bank made joint efforts in providing healthful meals and daily necessities.

“This was a meaningful charity event organized in time for the 50th anniversary of the founding of Daegu Bank,” said Lee Jeong-ho (Senior Vice President), the Head of Sales Division at BC Card, who then added, “We will continue creating opportunities to seek out our neighbors in need in the future.”

BC Card has been organizing the Love Sharing Festival to help the vulnerable classes for the past nine years since 2009, while continually expanding the scope of assistance and beneficiaries.
