BC Card Provides Aid for Post-earthquake Recovery by Donating TOP Points with Customers
BC Card made an announcement on November 27th regarding its TOP Point Donation Campaign, organized to assist the displaced people who were affected by the earthquake that recently hit the Pohang area. Anyone with a BC card who has TOP points can participate in the donation campaign, which will be carried out until December 22nd, by donating their points via the official website of BC Card. BC Card has promised to match the donations made by its customers during the campaign period, and donate all of the funds raised to the Community Chest of Korea. The donations will be used toward the post-earthquake recovery efforts as well as purchasing relief goods for the displaced people. Kim Jin-cheol, Executive Vice President in Sales Division of BC Card, said, “We’ve organized the TOP Point Donation Campaign to do our part in assisting the displaced people who were affected by the earthquake in the Pohang area,” and added, “I hope that the donations from us and our customers, no matter how little they may be, help achieve fast disaster recovery and are of assistance to the local residents. BC Card will continue engaging in donation and charity activities to help local communities in the future.” In addition to the donation campaign, BC Card has been operating the ▲ Red Meal Car in Pohang to serve as a shelter for the victims, and ▲ clearing the payments earlier for the business owners in Pohang since November 17th. |
