BC Card & Kakao Mobility Partners Up for “Convenient Payment Service for Business Taxi Use”

BC Card (CEO and President Lee Mun-hwan, www.bccard.com) made an announcement on February 27 that it will be the first in the industry to provide “convenient payment service for business taxi use” with Kakao Mobility (CEO Jung Joo-hwan).

The convenient payment service for business taxi use is a business taxi call and convenient payment service set to be launched by Kakao Mobility on February 27, and BC Card will be the first in the industry to offer a corporate card affiliate program.

To use the service, you must ① log on to the corporate membership site of Kakao Mobility, ② create a corporate membership account using your business registration number, and ③ register your BC corporate card just once.

The executives and employees of the company can use the business taxi service via the Kakao T app, without having to carry an actual corporate card, and the taxi charges will be automatically paid using the registered corporate card upon the arrival at the destination.

Meanwhile, a big data analysis of corporate card use by the Big Data R&D Team of BC Card showed that the transaction frequency of corporate cards issued by BC Card for taxi services has risen by 11.67%, on average, and the average transaction amount has also climbed up by 10.75% in the past 3 years.

Kim Jin-cheol (Senior Managing Director), the Director of Marketing Division of BC Card, said, “The results of the big data analysis showed that the frequency of using corporate cards for business taxi services has been rising every year. […] We will do our best to offer convenient services to our customers by initiating affiliate programs with multiple corporations.”
