BC Card signs MOU with Korea Tourism Organization-UnionPay International to attract foreign tourists

  • Signed MOU on the 2nd with Korea Tourism Organization and UnionPay International at BC Card Building in Seocho-dong to attract more tourists

BC Card (CEO and President Lee Mun-hwan, www.bccard.com) revealed that a MOU was signed with Korea Tourism Organization (acting CEO, Kang Ok Hee) and UnionPay International (General Manager of Northeast Asia, Park Mi Ryeong) on the 3rd to attract more foreign tourists.

The MOU was signed in BC Card building located in Seocho-dong on the 2nd at 4PM. Lee Kang Hyeok, vice-president of BC Card, Min Min Hong, director of International Tourism Division, Ulziibayar Ganzorig, CEO of Golomt Bank, Park Mi Ryeong, General Manager of Northeast Asia UnionPay International and relevant officials participated in the MOU signing ceremony.

Through this MOU, BC Card, Korea Tourism Organization and UnionPay International plan to continuously provide customized benefits with BC affiliate members to attract global UnionPay cardholders to Korea and on the 6th, BC Card will launch a special tourism service, providing customized benefits to UnionPay cardholders of Golomt Bank, Mongolia.

BC Card designed such service based on the fact that the Mongolian tourists heavily spent their credit cards in medical fields such as health examination and that the research of the local Korea Tourism Organization indicated high interest of Mongolians in the advanced medical services in Korea.

The tourism service to be provided in the future to tourists from particular countries is expected to be an optimal service combined with various benefits of UnionPay International along with the analysis of BC Card’s sales data and the research of the local Korea Tourism Organization.

Lee Gang Hyeok, the vice-president of BC Card revealed that “Through this MOU, we’re now able to provide customized services with Korea Tourism Organization and UnionPay Internatinoal to foreign visitors with UnionPay Card, and we plan to actively support various fields to invigorate tourism in Korea”.
