BC Card (CEO Lee Moon-hwan) held a "Love Sharing Festival" to provide warm meals to underprivileged people living in Dobong-gu, Seoul.

The event, which took place on Sep. 21 at the Seoul Metropolitan Food Bank located in Changdong, Dobong-gu, Seoul, involved "Red Food Truck Volunteer 11th" and a group of 100 KT Group employees and collaborated with the Dobong District Office, KT Group Hope Sharing Foundation and the Seoul Social Welfare Council.

It invited 400 underprivileged people in Dobong-gu, including elderly people living alone, low-income people and the disabled, to provide health food and daily necessities such as rice, red pepper paste and instant noodles. In addition, various legal consultations were held at the site for free, which was difficult to access due to time, place and economic reasons, and various other attractions such as cultural performances were provided.

Meanwhile, "Red Food Truck Volunteer 11th," which was also selected by BC Card and KT Group Hope Sharing Foundation, consists of 100 ordinary people, including college students and housewives, and mentors of executives and employees at KT Group companies such as KT, KT Skylife and KT Estate. For the next six months, they will conduct free food volunteer activities for underprivileged people in the region along with "Red Food Truck" in seven regions nationwide (Seoul, Incheon, Daegu, Ulsan, Gimhae, Gwangju and Yeosu).

Choi Seog-jin, executive vice president of BC Card Communication Division, said that "BC Card has donated 'Red Food Truck' to social welfare institutions nationwide since 2005 and has been practicing sharing with the community", and added "we will continue to share love and hope with the underprivileged across the country and practice co-prosperity in the future."
