BC Card announced on November 4 that it has signed a business agreement with Busan Metropolitan City (mayor Park Hyung-joon, hereinafter referred to as Busan City) to foster and support the Busan data-based financial technology industry at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 2 in Haeundae-gu, Busan. The business agreement ceremony was attended by Kim Yoon-il, deputy mayor of Busan City, Byun Hyung-kyun, head of BC Card's AI Big Data Division, and officials. The Busan data-based financial technology industry promotion and support project is led by Busan, companies, and Busan FinTech startups to promote regional economic development by providing sales, location, and credit data-based business analysis and marketing measures to local small business owners. BC Card will supply consumers and payment data for each merchant for business analysis of small business owners in Busan through this business agreement. Through this, sales and commercial district analysis can be subdivided, which is expected to help local small business owners expand customer contact points from product sales strategies to strengthening sales power to new product development. In addition, the project will be supported through the Busan Financial Big Data Platform Lab (based on the Busan International Financial Center), which was established in collaboration with the Busan Metropolitan Government in September last year. Currently, BC Card is taking the lead in supporting startups in Busan through various data provision and analysis, including online consumption commercial district analysis by ▲ purchase item ▲ support for new city planning design based on consumption data. In addition, BC Card's "Financial Big Data Platform" is opening transportation card information and economic and environmental information held by Busan City to create success stories for scientific correction and foster the digital industry.
