BC Card (CEO Choi Won-seok) announced on December 3 that it has won the Minister of Science and Technology Award in the 21st Korea Digital Management Innovation Awards in the field of management innovation.

The awards ceremony, which was held at the President Hotel in Seoul at 11 a.m., was attended by officials such as Choi Won-seok, CEO of BC Card and Shin Jong-chul, Lead of BC Card Data Combination Business TF Team.

BC Card was designated as the first institution specialized for pseudonym data in the financial industry in October, allowing combine non-financial data among heterogeneous industries such as manufacturing, telecommunication, etc. Based on this, BC Card received high marks on the awards for its proposal to promote new data-combined businesses.

In the future, BC Card plans to transform itself into a data company and challenge Data Processing Institutions designated by the Financial Services Commission according to Credit Information Act.
