Global artist "BLACKPINK" has returned as a debit card
BC Card (CEO Choi Won-seok) introduced "Paybooc Money BLACKPINK Check Card" based on own pre-paid electronic payment. Following the launch of South Korea's first artist-affiliated credit card in 2021, global artist "BLACKPINK" also has collaborated for debit card product. The card is BC Card's first own debit card product. You can pay only with points without opening a separate bank account. Earlier, BC Card was designated as an innovative financial service by the Financial Services Commission at the end of March to launch the product. Because of point-based, it is necessary to charge 'Paybooc Money' before using it. Paybooc Money is a prepaid electronic payment method provided by 'Paybooc', BC Card's living finance platform. It can be charged from a minimum of 10,000 won to a maximum of 2 million won. The charging method can be directly charged through the bank, savings bank, and securities accounts opened under the name of the person, or can be automatically charged on the designated date of each month. Customized benefits and designs for BLACKPINK fandom are also eye-catching. First, the maximum amount of Paybooc Money is set aside up to 10,000 won per month according to card payment amount. The design consists of a total of five types, including photos of each member (Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, Lisa) and BLACKPINK's iconic image, such as earlier credit card products. The difference from former credit cards is that each design will be released in a limited edition. Unlike credit cards that could be issued only when credit information could be verified as those aged 19 or older, it is a debit card product so that anyone aged 14 or older can apply to issuance. The card is issued only for domestic use initially and annual membership fees are free. |
