BC Card has launched financial support for customers affected by the 2019 Novel Coronavirus

  • Customers and merchants who suffer damage due to the 2019 Novel Coronavirus will be suspended for up to six months
  • Interest-free installment benefits will also be provided for two to three months to support small and medium-sized merchants with annual sales of 500 million won or less

BC Card (CEO Lee Moon-hwan) has drawn up financial support measures for customers and merchants affected by the 2019 Novel Coronavirus.

BC Card customers and small and medium-sized merchants may be suspended for up to six months for lump sum, installment and cash advance payments due in February and March if they are affected by the 2019 Novel Coronavirus.

Subject to a holding on payment are small and medium-sized merchants with annual sales of 500 million won or less, or customers with BC cards issued by Woori Card, IBK Industrial Bank of Korea, SC Cheil Bank, Hana Card, BNK Busan Bank and BNK Gyeongnam Bank.

In order to boost the sagging consumer market, support measures have also been prepared for BC Card merchants.

BC customers who used installment service from Feb.15 to the end of March at about 2.8 million small and medium-sized merchants with annual sales of 500 million won or less will be supported by interest-free benefits for up to three months without any application process.
